先週、先々週と東京出張の際に時間をとって福島県いわき市の友人を訪ねてきました。いわき駅周辺は歩道の不陸が気になる程度で建物やインフラは被害を免れたかと思い友人に聞いたところ「相当の被害があったが、外面や外装はだいぶ補修したが内部はまだ手つかずのところが多いよ」とのこと。実際に友人のマンション内部を見せてもらったら・・・・内装材は剥がれ、クラック（ひび割れ）あちこちに。

震災や原発事故の復興のための県外工事関係者が多く、ホテルは満室で夜の歓楽街の人通りが多いようでした。復興のシンボルでもある常磐ハワイアンセンターに足をのばしてみましたが、２，３工事中の施設がありましたが、来場者で溢れていました。

一見すると復興需要に湧いてるかのように思えますが、この１年間は大変だったようです。

翌日は放射能汚染制限区域の近くまで行き、海岸線を走ってきました。
